Yet, some wedding couple might find the latter option a daunting task as it require more time than the first part, and you are probably afraid of what it might become.
Different from the more general traditional wedding vows, non traditional wedding vows usually have a less strict structure as you are free put the main theme of your marriage life and whatever you wish to convey to your beloved. Some couples would choose trust issues, or support each other dream. The wording could be different but the message is the same; a promise through good time and bad time.
One of the advantages of non-traditional wedding vows are you can actually make them funny. This kind of wedding vow will works on a more casual setting, like beach wedding or wedding which happen in a more secular place other than religious ground; as some people seem to prefer these days. On some rare cases, a funny wedding vows can be used in a place of worship, but as it didn’t happened every time, make sure to consult the official of your place of worship about this as some religions are stricter than the rest. If the answer is yes, make sure you understand where the line of leverage ends; wedding is an important event, you would not want to offend God would you? Otherwise, feel free to be creative; add your own embellishments, romantic words, promises, both serious and funny and even inside jokes.
