Wedding Ring for Men
Jun 25th, 2008 | By Ch3 | Category: Wedding RingAhhhh, wedding. One of the best occasion and mile-stones in human life, regardless of your gender or your sexual preference, wedding holds a big part that defines a human life. Now, skip aside all those hubbub and chaotic decision-meeting on decorations, bridal gown, flowers for each and every wedding participants, tuxedos, priest or anything resembling one, ballrooms, gardens, etc etc. Let’s go to the part where it’s tangible and long-lasting. Well, aside from love that is.
Yup, rings.
Whatever metal you choose, a pair of wedding ring is a tangible proof of love and commitment; so it’s really important to find something that is stylish, timeless and durable. Gold is classic and timeless, either plain ones or adorned with gems of your choice. Yet, for those whose style tends to shied away from anything that is classic, there’s actually a lot metal you can choose. Platinum, titanium, tungsten or white gold whose style varies from classic to a custom-made modern cut. You name it, you got it.
Selecting wedding rings for a man is trickier than for their female counterparts. While rings for women tends to be more elegant, lanky, considerably smaller and definitely with more flair (we all love shiny things, people!), wedding rings for men tends to be simpler, bulkier; to fit with larger fingers, and with less flair compared to those of female’s. For example, a wedding ring for women is likely to have more gems and a more feminine design than of those which belongs to our male counterparts. The wedding ring for a man is a lot simpler with symmetrical lines and less gems.

There are a lot of models to choose though, from contemporary design to two-tone where they put two kinds of metal together (it’s usually gold and white gold or platinum). Those who like simpler design would find contemporary wedding rings more to their liking. Or for those who like one-of-the-kind models could have their rings custom made.
Once those rings are all done, don’t forget to have incised. Usually, your chosen store will offer this service for free; if they don’t, try asking them as an additional service, it’s not that difficult to carve a few words behind your rings. You can carve anything, from your spouse’s name, your wedding date, some sweet lines and even a line from your favorite poem. Just remember to not carve anything resembling orc language. Neither you nor your spouse is Frodo in the quest of delivering the One ring to the cracks of Mount Doom.
Well, happy choosing!
