Wedding Music & Song Collection

No event is complete without the appropriate songs; especially if such event is your very own wedding. May it be timeless classics, R&B, Pop, Jazz, Folk, Country, or, God forbid, Heavy Metal.? As long as it’s something that your audience could enjoy, and fitted for the occasion (Rihanna’s Umbrella is a nice choice, but I really would advice against anything by Eminem or 50 Cents), your creativity is your only limit. That and your husband-to-be and his family taste of music.

For those who would love to stick to classical and instrumental piece, anything by Mozart is always a good choice. It’s timeless, classic, regal, and agreeable to most ears. Be sure to pick the best orchestra though, a bad one would make your wedding into a nightmare. However for those who thought that Mozart’s is too sweet (but again, seriously, a Gothic Wedding?! ‘Helena is not wedding song!), you can choose other song.

CDs for those songs are available on both your local store and online stores, and I believe almost all string quartet groups would know at least one of these songs. And if you still think that it’s a little bit outdated to use classical, or it’s too pricey to hire a strings quartet for a day, try to ask your little brother or anyone you know who have band to play those songs in acoustic guitar. I know for a fact that at least Canon in D will sounds excellent in one.

But again, really, wedding is once-in –a-lifetime event, a little over budgeting won’t hurt you in the long run. This, however, is your own choice to make. Just remember, be creative. Below are some of my favorites wedding song / music MP3:
