Wedding Ceremony Songs
Jul 20th, 2008 | By Ch3 | Category: Wedding MusicWhile wedding ceremony might appear more formal than your reception, you can still make it less stuffy; especially if you have a casual beach wedding or you wish for ore intimae settings. Wedding ceremony is a serious and romantic affair. SO, the wedding reception music selection are suppose to be a more classical stuff, or an instrumental rendition of popular songs and ; something which your guest could recognize and appreciate, regardless of which generation they belong; thus, picking good songs to match the event is a one tough job.
There are a lot of genre to pick, ballads, pop, jazz, R&B, rock (if you are hiring live bands, a softer rendition of My Chemical Romance will sounds really good in acoustic). And, in order to embrace both generations of your guest, picking a more contemporary collection is needed.
This kind of music collection encompassing each and every genre; just pick whatever you like. R&B with a sprinkle of fusion Jazz? No problem, as long as you keep the romantic mood that is. Instrumental rendition is also a good choice if you find the music and beat catchy but the lyrics simply unfit.
Some contemporary songs I would recommend using would be:
1. In Your Arms by Shania Twain
2. In A Rush by Blackstreet
3. Kiss From A Rose by Seal
4. We’ve Only Just Begun by The Carpenters
5. Truly Madly Deeply by Savage Garden
6. Our Love is Here To Stay Nat King Cole
7. And I Love Her by the Beatles
8. Unforgettable by Nat King Cole
9. Your are the Sunshine of my Life by Stevie Wonder
10. The Prayer by Andrea Bocelli
11. From This Moment by Shania Twain & Bryan White
12. I Knew I Loved You by Savage Garden
13. Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton
14. I Do, Cherish You 98 Degrees
15. Grow Old With You by Adam Sandler
16. All My Life by K-Ci & JoJo
17. Spend My Life With You Eric Benet & Tamia
18. “Endless Love” by Diana Ross & Lionel Richie
19. Everytime I Close My Eyes by Babyface
20. “My Boo by Usher and Alicia Keys
21. “If I Ain’t got You” by Alicia Keys
22. “Love of My Life” by Brian McKnight
The list could go on and on and one. With your husband-to-be permission you could actually made these songs a story which tells your love. From how you meet until the day you say ‘I do’, and every milestones in between. Choose something that define your feeling, something sweet and would sweep the audience off their feet, figuratively of course. If English is not you or your community mother language, you can also consider diffusing some of your local ballads into the palate.
