Use Contemporary Wedding Song in Your Big Day

Jun 27th, 2008 | By Ch3 | Category: Wedding Music

Choosing what kind of music you wanted to play during your wedding reception, especially those which could appease all audience and get them dancing, is one tough job. It’s one aspect of the chaos called wedding arrangement, and something that almost as important as choosing which gown to wear, as music is the mood-maker of the occasion. Of course you want them to be as happy and a romantic as you on your most important day.

There are many styles to choose, ballads, pop, jazz, R&B, rock (a more gentle rendition-they use acoustic guitar- but I know My Chemical Romance when I heard one), but if you are the kind of person who cherish the present and pray for the future, contemporary wedding music might fit your palate.

This type of music encompassing each and every genre you don’t have to stick to just one. R&B music combine with a sprinkle of fusion Jazz? No problem, as long as you keep the romantic mood that is. Instrumental rendition is also a good choice if you find the music and beat catchy but the lyrics simply unfit.

Some I would recommend using would be:

1. In Your Arms by Shania Twain
2. In A Rush by Blackstreet
3. Kiss From A Rose by Seal
4. We’ve Only Just Begun by The Carpenters
5. Truly Madly Deeply by Savage Garden
6. Our Love is Here To Stay Nat King Cole
7. And I Love Her by the Beatles
8. Unforgettable by Nat King Cole
9. Your are the Sunshine of my Life by Stevie Wonder
10. The Prayer by Andrea Bocelli
11. From This Moment by Shania Twain & Bryan White
12. I Knew I Loved You by Savage Garden
13. Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton
14. I Do, Cherish You 98 Degrees
15. Grow Old With You by Adam Sandler
16. All My Life by K-Ci & JoJo
17. Spend My Life With You Eric Benet & Tamia

Quite a list to choose from, I know. Take a breather from the hubbub called wedding preparation for a while, take a seat and talk with your spouse to be. Make a list of your memorable songs, something that has historical value from both of you; some of your husband/wife-to-be personal favorite from his/her favorite singer or band. As long neither of you choose something from Eminem of 50 cents, you should be fine.

Choose something that define your feeling, something sweet and would sweep the audience off their feet, figuratively of course. It doesn’t have to be English, find some local songs that you like best.
Well, happy choosing!
