Some Wonderful Bridesmaids Gift Ideas
Jun 27th, 2008 | By Ch3 | Category: Featured Wedding ArticlesThe bridesmaids are not the center of a wedding event; that role belongs solely to the groom and bride, but no one should forget the bridesmaids as the girls had been with you the whole time, through all hardship and happiness of friendship; even acting as your wedding counselor to some extent. From helping address the invitations, throwing a bachelorette party, gift collectors, or being there with a loft of tissues, hand-holding and basically being there for you through the chaotic stage of wedding arrangements.
For this ‘close to the heart’ role, it is almost expected for the brides to find something wonderful to express the gratitude, esteem and long-friendship.
Here are some ideas regarding of what to give for your beloved bridesmaids:
- A piece of jewelry; bangles, pendants, necklaces. Combined anything that your bridesmaids will like; from pearls, Swarovski to sterling silver. Find something which would complement their dresses and something they could wear for many events to come.
- If you wish to find something personal, find something that fit with their personalities. While this gesture is very thoughtful, I would advise against it; finding a personalized gift takes a lot of time and thought, so this only if you already cover all aspect of your wedding.
- A certificate to full day spa will be deeply appreciated; after all, each of them deserved a day of pampering after helping our with the chaos called wedding arrangement.
- A customized handbag, tote bag or make up pouch with their initial embroidered is also a great idea. Make sure to find something elegant, with a design they could wear on many occasion to come. Pick satin or silk for the pouch and canvas for the tote bag and make sure that the design is well-suited with the wedding theme. If your wedding is a casual beach wedding, the tote bag is more likely than the silk make up pouch
- A full set of make-up kit cold also make an excellent choice of gifts, combine them with expensive looking silk pouch mentioned above and, voila!
Make sure none of the gift outdone the other and even if some gifts are meant to be more than the other (this could happen to you Maid of Honor as the position requiring a lot more works than an average bridesmaids), make sure you find some private moment and not doing it in front of any other girls to see.
Find a private moment during bachelorette party or the rehearsal dinner to give your gift, as you will be very busy with all the wedding preparation later.
